at the border thereof to the Lord.

The Great Pyramid of Giza (pronounced Jeezah), is the last surviving wonder of the original Seven Wonders of the World. In spite of the fact that the Great Pyramid is over 4000 years old, it still holds the world's record for being the most massive stone building ever constructed by man. The secret of who built the Pyramid, and its true purpose, are still a mystery for modern-day scientists. In the 18th century it was discovered that the Great Pyramid's height was in relation to the distance around its base, in the same proportion that the radius of a circle holds to the circumference of a circle. The Great Pyramid thus records the exact mathematical relationship between the diameter of a circle and its circumference (pi). This was truly a shocking discovery, for it was not previously thought that any ancient civilizations were aware of the value of pi.
When this discovery was first announced in the late 1700's, most European scholars absolutely refused to believe it was true. Teams of archeologists were immediately dispatched to Egypt to further examine the Great Pyramid and dispel this wild claim. But when archeologists attempted to determine the smallest common measuring unit used in building the pyramid, they found this measurement recorded on a decorative boss located inside of one of the pyramid's hidden inner chambers. The length of this measuring unit turned out to be exactly equal to the modern-day British inch! Now scientists had an even more amazing puzzle to explain. How could the British inch have possibly survived unchanged for over 4000 years?
The next largest measuring unit used in building the pyramid was found recorded in another hidden chamber located at the pyramid's 25th level. This length turned out to be equal to 25 British inches. The sacred Bible cubit was long thought to have also equaled 25 inches. It was then found that each side of the base of the Great Pyramid measured exactly 365.242 of these sacred cubits in length, thus recording the precise number of days in Earth's solar year! But how could the builders of the Great Pyramid possibly have known the exact length of Earth's solar year? Scientists have since determined that the distance from Earth's North Pole to its Center equals exactly ten million of these sacred cubits in length, also recording the fact that the distance from Earth's North Pole to its South Pole exactly equals 500,000,000 British inches! This measurement even compensates for the effects of Post-Glacial Rebound, which acted to slightly increase this length over time. How could the builders of the Great Pyramid possibly have known the exact diameter of the Earth?
The Great Pyramid has since been found to contain a great wealth of information concerning the history of the Earth and also the history of man. Modern scientists tell us that evolution resulted in man's gradual development out an ignorant and aboriginal past, but the Great Pyramid clearly demonstrates a past knowledge far in advance of our own. In the book of Isaiah 19:19 we are told that in the last days of man, there will be an altar to the Lord still standing in the midst of the land of Egypt. Could the Great Pyramid possibly be this altar? The ancient Jewish historian Josephus wrote that the Great Pyramid was built by the children of Seth before the Flood in order to preserve knowledge.
