One of the most famous poems ever written by the prophet Nostradamus, concerns the coming of the great scientist Louis Pasteur, who finally revealed to us the previously unseen world of the microbe. That's right! In this prophecy Nostradamus not only predicts the coming of the great Louis Pasteur, but even goes so far as to include Pasteur's name in the prophecy. Nostradamus then proceeds to describe his great accomplishment of revealing to mankind the existence of the long-hidden world of the microbe, and tells us that because of this discovery, Pasteur is honored as a demi-god by the people of France, but soon becomes an object of slander and ridicule by his jealous colleagues in the European medical community. Then to top all this off, Nostradamus even includes the date of the event at the end of the moon's great cycle in the 1880's (the Roussat Moon Cycle 1535 - 1888)! And sure enough, right on schedule in 1888, Pasteur did indeed undertake his great investigation into the three most common human plagues: streptococcus, staphylococcus, and pneumococcus, exactly as Nostradamus predicted he would over 300 years earlier. Modern scientists are still unable to explain how Nostradamus was able to accomplish this amazing feat of prophecy, over two centuries before Pasteur was born.
